"Faith is the great cop-out, the great excuse to evade the need to think and evaluate evidence. Faith is the belief in spite of, even perhaps because of, the lack of evidence."
---Richard Dawkins

This site is here not to belittle, offend or to abuse those with a belief in a god. It's here to inform everyone that there is another choice besides belief in a dogma. Too many people are indoctrinated at such a young, before they even reach the age of reason and really have no chance to shape and form their own opinions and beliefs.

That's where we come in. It's not too late to reevaluate and take a much more broader examination of your beliefs. Here we can recommend books, show you some of the public figures of Atheism & activists. You can also read how I feel about religion as a whole in My Blog. You can watch the video of the week & the video archives, catch up on daily news, and a whole lot more...

We here at AAR feel that religion bonds and shackles humans, and for what? How can they preach a sermon of love while at the same time the books that they endorse speak of violence, bigotry, intolerance, rape, incest, homophobia and many, many pages of contradictions. Religion hardens hearts and enslaves minds, and we are hear to break those chains of religion.

Atheism is the cure for religious terrorism. Religion thrives on fear and fear alone. We think in the 21st century we shouldn't be subjecting each other to such erroneous behavior. It's time to get up, come out and speak up and start the revolution and replace fear, indifference, and bigotry with reason, rationality and logic.

How many more lives have to be lost in the name of a god? How many wars will be fought because of dogma? How many have to be condemned to some kind of eternal damnation by mere men at pulpits? How much fraud has to be committed before people stop donating? How many more children will be raped by the people they once trusted?

If you want to follow and believe any sort of religion or god, of course you are free to do so, and we won't condemn you for it. But please take this as an opportunity for your enlightenment.
